Freeland
Mission statement
Freeland Foundation is both a national and an international non-profit organisation registered and headquartered in Thailand (as a Thai Foundation). Freeland focuses on helping governments and the public combat wildlife and human trafficking with a vision of making the world free of wildlife trafficking and human slavery. Since inception in 2000, Freeland has worked with governments, communities and like-minded organizations to implement innovative programs across Southeast Asia (and other parts of the world including India and Brazil). We protect threatened wildlife by directly addressing challenges throughout the entire illegal wildlife trade supply chain, from poaching, counter trafficking investigations and mentored law enforcement, to law revision and reducing consumer demand.
