Mission statement

All of KKI programs mission focuses on conserving and protecting wild Indonesian parrots and cockatoos with research, rehabilitation and reintroduction, conservation education and pride program, and community development. Many of these species are threatened or on the brink of extinction. Our group comprises of Indonesian members, with extensive experience in parrot field research, data collection, analysis, publishing, and reporting. We also to work directly at the grassroots level with the local stakeholders to provide capacity building in these parrot rich communities.
