Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia
Mission statement
Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (TCS) was established in 2011 to protect and conserve depleted populations of endangered freshwater turtles in the country through partnerships and collaborations with government agencies, corporate companies, schools, and like-minded organisations and individuals. We are a tax-exempt organisation in Malaysia.
Our multi-pronged approach includes conducting turtle research and conservation projects; hosting educational programmes with school students; participating in public awareness campaigns; and empowering women in the local communities to be financially sustainable through the production of turtle batik merchandise.
