Mission statement
Society for Wildlife Conservation, Education and Research (Wild-CER), is committed to the conservation of nature and natural resources in Central India.
With a mission of conserving our environmental heritage through education and research, Wild-CER has been active in protecting and preserving the rapidly declining endangered fauna and its natural habitat.
Wild-CER is focused on conservation of critically endangered species like Vulture, Tiger, Pangolin etc, Mitigation of man-animal conflict through community involvement and wildlife investigation through forensic techniques, capacity building of frontline staff of the forest department & veterinarians to deal wildlife emergencies and rescue and rehabilitation of wild fauna.

Earlier this year, a significant breakthrough was made in one of the projects funded by ASAP’s Species Conservation Fund. After a long search, the dedicated team rediscovered the very first specimen of an Mesilau Stream Toad, thought to have been lost to science.
