Mission statement
Liberec Zoo aims to inspire and encourage other institution and individuals to take action in conservation of biodiversity all over the world.
Since the establishment in 1904 the Zoo has undergone a perceptible development along wiht our society and world generally. Nowadays, Liberec Zoo strongly feels the importance of both in-situ and ex-situ conservation in order to preserve the living wealth of life.
