The emergency

Severe flooding caused by a typhoon had damaged an important conservation breeding programme for the Palawan Forest Turtle. Improved facilities were needed to safeguard this globally important assurance population.

Results

Funding was used to construct an elevated and flood-proof facility that could house up to 57 turtles at different stages of development.
